We’re Not Going Anywhere, We Promise
Sometimes a change is needed.
This post was just posted on the main website at BSBFangirls.com.
This is one of those posts that feels a little hard to write.
Not because anything is ending. But because something is changing.
After years of running BSBFangirls as a traditional website, we’ve decided it’s time to retire the site as we know it. But before anything else, we need to say this clearly.
We are not going anywhere.
This Site Has Always Been More Than a Website
BSBFangirls was never just pages and posts.
It gave us:
Friendships that we never expected
Conversations with people who just get it
Memories tied to music that has been part of our lives for decades
It gave us opportunities we never could have planned.
Moments where this fangirl life turned into something real.
For me and Emilia, it opened doors. It gave us the opportunity to become published authors.
And that is something we will never take for granted.
This space has always been about connection. And that part is not changing.
Why the Change
Life looks different now.
We are all busy. Work, family, responsibilities, everything in between. And the truth is, most of us are not checking websites the way we used to.
We live in our inboxes. We scroll. We connect instantly.
And honestly, in 2026, running a fan website the old way feels a little… outdated.
What matters more now is being able to stay connected in a way that fits into real life.
And we have already started doing that.
Especially this past year on Instagram. Talking with you. Laughing with you. Sharing moments as they happen.
That has been one of our favorite parts.
So What’s Next
We’re moving BSBFangirls to Substack.
Think of it like a newsletter.
You can subscribe and get posts sent straight to your email
You can follow along in the Substack app
You can stay up to date without having to remember to check a site
Sometimes you can listen to audio of our posts.
We’ll post when we have something to share, whether it’s news, thoughts, opinions, reviews, fun nostalgia stuff, etc.
No overload. No constant notifications. Just the moments that matter.
What Happens to the Website
This weekend, we’ll be making the transition.
The main domain will point to Substack
If everything goes as planned, the archive will live at:
bsbfangirls.com/archive
And the good news - All posts from our current writers have already been moved over to Substack. They are there waiting for you.
One Last Thing
We didn’t post this yesterday for a reason. No April Fools jokes here. No tricks.
Just an honest update from us to you.
BSBFangirls has never been about just a website.
It’s about the music. The memories. The people.
It’s about being a fan and finding others who understand exactly why this still matters.
That is not going anywhere.
If anything, this is just making it easier for us to stay together.
